Privacy Policy for Fast

1. Information We Collect

Fast is designed to respect your privacy.

• Personal Data: We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number.
• Usage Data: We do not track your workouts or location on our servers. All interval configurations and timer settings are stored locally on your device.

2. Device Permissions

To provide its core functionality, Fast requires certain device permissions:

• Notifications: We use notifications to provide persistent feedback while the timer is running and to allow you to easily navigate back to the app from your lock screen or other apps.
• Audio & Background Processing: Fast requires permission to play audio cues (e.g., "Run" or "Walk" announcements) and to continue operating while the app is in the background or your device is locked.
• Microphone: Although the app uses audio libraries, it does not record or transmit any audio from your microphone.

3. Data Storage

All your data, including interval settings and preferences (such as voice selection), remains on your device. We do not have access to this data, and it is not synced to any cloud services unless you manually backup your device (e.g., via iCloud or Google Drive).

4. Third-Party Services

We use Expo and React Native to build the application. These frameworks themselves do not collect your personal data through our implementation. The app does not currently feature third-party analytics or advertising.

5. Children's Privacy

Since we do not collect any personal information, our application is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in a new version of the app and an updated "Effective Date."
